We will help you select the right parameters for your on-going backup. Your backup regimen will be configured on-site and can be set to archive new data after business hours when your bandwidth is most plentiful.

All versions of UNIX (including Macintosh's OSX) have built-in tools and are ready to be configured for automatic archival. We configure and run these tools using the cron daemon which is already running on the workstation or server.

Whether we're archiving data from Solaris, HP-UX, Windows, GNU/Linux or Macintosh operating systems, the initial "seed" backup can take several days depending upon bandwidth availability and file sizes. After this has been done successfully only files which have changed (deltas) need to be added to the off-site archive. This is the most efficient method to preserve your backup integrity.
